Use this PowerShell helper after downloading the official IBKR Client Portal Gateway zip. It installs the files into a stable folder, creates a launcher, and starts the local gateway.

What To Do After Downloading

  1. Install or open ToR Connector on your computer.
  2. Download the official IBKR Client Portal Gateway zip from IBKR.
  3. Run the Windows install helper to extract it and create a launcher.
  4. Open IBKR Client Portal Gateway and sign in to your paper account.
  5. Return to tor.polustechnology.com and continue with ToR.

IBKR’s own documentation says the gateway still has to be started from the command line on Windows, and IBKR does not provide a supported way to automate the brokerage login itself.
